EVENTS: We're hitting the road

Nov 4, 2015
Pacific Wild

Next week, Pacific Wild co-founder Ian McAllister, conservationist, photographer, and longtime Great Bear Rainforest resident, is making his way into British Columbia to meet with our colleagues and supporters in Vernon, Revelstoke, Kaslo, and Nelson.

While on the road, he will be delivering four public talks, taking his audience on a journey from the headwaters of the Great Bear Rainforest's unexplored river valleys, down to the hidden depths of the offshore world.

Globally renowned for its astonishing biodiversity, the Great Bear Rainforest is one of the most endangered landscapes on the planet, where Frist Nations people fight for their way of life as massive energy projects threaten entire ecosystems. Ian's stunning collection of photographs and personal narrative is the product of more than twenty years of research, exploration, and campaigning on this coast - and he will attempt to summarize it all in each presentation...!

Audiences will be treated to spectacular photography, videography, and storytelling, as Ian works to bring the hidden world of the Great Bear Rainforest to points beyond - specifically, Vernon, Revelstoke, Kaslo, and Nelson.

If/as dates are added, our Facebook and website events listings will be too, so check back as it occurs to you.
