2022 is coming to a close and it’s been a year of major milestones and highlights.Thank you to each of you who took action to write letters, emails, phone and join our events. You continue to give wildlife a voice and make it possible for us to do the work we do.
In December, we witnessed world leaders and the B.C. Government, commit to protect 30% of lands and waters by 2030. We look forward to being a part of this important work to protect biodiversity and species in 2023 and beyond.
Want to dive deeper into Pacific Wild’s conservation initiatives? Take a read of our end of winter journal featuring the work we’re doing.
In 2023 we ask ourselves: How can we be better ancestors?
It’s about coming together, looking at issues holistically, and questioning outdated models and colonial ways of thinking.
It’s about investigating and advocating for accountability and makingIndigenous-led conservation central to protection of wildlife and wild places.
It’s about putting nature first.
Your support means that our voice gets stronger. Together we can work to protect the critical biodiversity of ecosystems, habitats and animals throughout B.C..
With Gratitude, and Happy New Year!
