The Great Bear Rainforest hit theatres last Friday to share the stories of the wild place that has been stewarded by First Nations for thousands of years with the world.
The Times Colonist called it “a catalyst for conversation”.
Variety said, “It’s virtually impossible not to feel enveloped by the sights the filmmakers capture on camera. Every frame impresses, with no time wasted on filler.”
Join Director Ian McAllister at the beautiful Royal BC Museum IMAX Theatre for a special event that offers a rare dive into the three years of work behind this epic film and the issues and threats still facing this vast wilderness.
The evening starts with a pre-screening reception in the museum hall and a panel discussion will follow the film with Ian McAllister, and camera technician Deirdre Leowinata.
Silent Auction to include framed Ian McAllister print, Pacific Wild Helly Hansen Apparel and Book packages.
Exclusive Helly Hansen Pacific Wild Toques will be available for sale.
Guests will be entered into a draw for a door prize.
Tickets and full details are available on Eventbrite.
All proceeds will go directly to Pacific Wild’s conservation efforts in the Great Bear Rainforest.
