The goal of this program is to engage and educate grade 4 and 5 students on the importance of Pacific herring as an integral foundational species to the ecosystems of the Pacific Coast. Pacific Wild offers the following educational tools for teachers to use in their classroom: a curriculum toolkit, student worksheets, educational videos, activities and a self-paced trivia game where students can test their knowledge. This program is self-directed by teachers and can be easily adapted for virtual or in-class learning. Pacific Wild will provide teachers with prizes for participating students.
