Introducing Howl2Horgan

Howl2Horgan is our new wolf-focused public engagement campaign targeted at Premier John Horgan.

Pacific Wild — in collaboration with the Animal Alliance of CanadaThe Fur-BearersTakaya’s Legacy and the Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs (UBCIC) — just launched Howl2Horgan.org, a public engagement campaign targeted at Premier John Horgan. Be the first to visit our website and take action by sending a letter or making a phone call to Horgan’s office.

On February 15th and 16th, several billboards went up on the Patricia Bay Highway on Vancouver Island, where 28,000 people a day travel between B.C.’s lower mainland and downtown Victoria.

The B.C. government’s wolf cull continues to be unethical, unscientific, & ineffective.

This is only the beginning of our multimedia campaign using billboards and other ads to put pressure on the B.C government and ensure wolves are given the proper protection they deserve. The government’s decision to continue scapegoating wolves represents a failure to protect and restore critical old-growth forests required for mountain caribou to thrive.

Keep an eye out on our website and social media channels over the coming days for more information including our new wolf activist kit. Habitat protection is the answer, not killing wolves.

With your help, we can put an end to the wolf cull. If you’d like to help extend the visibility of the media campaign, please consider donating here. Every little bit helps!
