The Great Bear Rainforest hit theatres last Friday to share the stories of the wild place that has been stewarded by First Nations for thousands of years with the world.
The Times Colonist called it “a catalyst for conversation”.
Variety said, “It’s virtually impossible not to feel enveloped by the sights the filmmakers capture on camera. Every frame impresses, with no time wasted on filler.”
Join Director Ian McAllister at the beautiful Royal BC Museum IMAX Theatre for a special event that offers a rare dive into the three years of work behind this epic film and the issues and threats still facing this vast wilderness.
The evening starts with a pre-screening reception in the museum hall and a panel discussion will follow the film with Ian McAllister, and camera technician Deirdre Leowinata.
