In April 2026 the B.C. government announced a proposed five-year extension of the B.C. wolf cull to an undisclosed list of stakeholders including Pacific Wild. After meeting from representatives with the Caribou Recovery Program to learn more about this proposed extension and ask why it wasn’t open for public feedback like it had been in 2021, Pacific Wild prepared a written response and included 1800 comments from the public opposing the continuation of the B.C. wolf cull.
